Bottles:
- Children will begin a gradual transition away from bottles, which includes:
- Gradually moving from warm milk to cold, if possible
- Having less bottles per day (according to parents instruction)
- Teachers will collaborate with parents to make a plan for this transition
- Self feeding:
- Ideally, children will be able to eat the majority of their snacks and lunches through self feeding with finger foods and/or with utensils
- This is an important part of the Chipmunk daily routine

- First, utensils will be offered to child at meal times in the Chickadee room
- Then, use of utensils will be encouraged in the Chipmunk room
